At best wood SCHNEIDER in Messkirch, standards are set in wood processing. At the new site, 350,000 solid cubic meters of logs are processed into CLT, BSH and BSH-DUO/TRIO beams every year. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, best wood SCHNEIDER guarantees maximum precision and efficiency.
The equipment includes the TechnoWood TW Mill-M gantry robot for processing CLT large-format panels, which can be automatically bound up to a format of 16 x 3.5 meters. Vacuum lifters position the panels in two positions on the production line – the panels are served alternately by the gantry.
The TechnoWood machinery at best wood SCHNEIDER also includes a TW-Agil 3000/500. Hidden behind the cryptic name is TechnoWood’s rod processing center. In this case, the pole with a diameter of 3.0m x 0.5m is simply very large. The system was designed to process Schneider’s box ceiling elements. These large formats are processed from above and below, eliminating the need to turn the elements and optimizing production processes.
